Without doubt, this is the tie of the round. Manu-Inter might have something to say but in terms of pure prestige this is the biggest game in World football this month.

This is just a mouthwatering match-up both on and off the pitch. On the pitch, i’m really looking forward to see Pepe marking Torres. El Nino has never really played well against Real Madrid, and Pepe is an expert at marking world class forwards out of the game. The midfield battle of Xabi/Mascherano/Gerrard against Lassana and Gago is also going to be very interesting. The Real Madrid CM pairing has been awesome this season since the winter break. Juande Ramos has this team on fire right now. The unity in the team is high, and they’ve scored 10 goals in their last 2 games.

I would love to be in the Bernabeu to experience the electryfing atmosphere. The 2nd leg at Anfield is going to be equally as exciting:

I have tremendous respect for Liverpool. 14 European Cups between these two majestic teams. Welcome back to the Bernabeu, Rafa Benitez.
